Maddox Myane, Baritone Saxophone, 11th grade, earned first chair in the 2021-22 Texas All-State Jazz Band.
Maddox is an incredibly talented musician who auditioned live in September of 2021 and through tape in October 2021 to earn first chair in the state. Maddox earned the honor of performing at the TMEA Convention in February of 2022 and represented CTJ and the NEISD Community at the highest level. We are so proud of Maddox’s work ethic and talents.
Maddox returns to CTJ for his senior year, where he serves as a Section Leader, Wind Ensemble (Honors Band) member, marching band soloist, and Jazz One member.
